LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING covers household chores such as dusting surfaces, vacuuming and sweeping the main walk areas, cleaning areas where clients frequent, taking out the trash, cleaning the bathroom after bathing, cleaning the kitchen after meal preparations, etc.  The duties and tasks of light housekeeping are restricted to the client, meaning, caregivers are not required to perform duties and tasks for others that may reside in the household and/or clients family, visitors or guests.   Quality Care involves 80% of caregivers time being spent in “direct” interaction with the client. However, 20% of caregivers time may be spent in a combination of light housekeeping and other “in-direct” tasks
